Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:


The Cath Lab Tech will provide essential support in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a busy electrophysiology and cath lab environment. This role requires a skilled professional capable of working closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist during diagnostic angiograms, PCIs, and structural heart procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and MitraClip.
• Prepare and operate equipment including GE imaging systems and electronic medical records like EPIC or Merge.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols during all procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure procedural accuracy and patient safety.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the EMR system.
• Assist in managing the cath lab’s daily workflow and ensure protocol compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold RCIS, RT, CVT, or RN credentials with experience in cath lab settings.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in diagnostic and interventional scrubbing with cardiologists.
• Show flexibility and teamwork skills, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work day shifts with on-call responsibilities, including weekends.
• Valid certification and current licensure as required.
