Civil Designer

The Civil Designer will be responsible for providing drawings and technical support for an energy company. What are you going to do? As a Civil Designer, you will: Create and maintain Site Plans, Foundation Location Plans, Concrete Details, Rebar Schedule & Materials, Workspace drawings, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, Steel Location Plans, Steel Details, Stakeout Plans, and other drawings that may be required. Perform site studies, create vendor drawings, catalog data, and other duties as assigned. Communicate with internal and external business partners to determine needs and satisfaction. Develop and maintain facility drawings for Plants, Stations, and above-ground appurtenances in support of Operations & Maintenance, Tactical, and as necessary Engineering & Construction projects ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient design and delivery of drawings from conception to as‑built state and continued maintenance and updates afterward. Read and interpret documents such as drawings and project specifications. What are the requirements? Associates Degree in Design/Drafting, Industrial Design, Architecture, or equivalent experience. 5-7 years of Drafting experience. Previous experience in the energy industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Concrete and Steel background.
