POSITION SUMMARY

As a Room and Table Attendant, you'll wear two hats — and wear them well. In one, you're delivering in-room dining experiences that feel effortless and personal. In the other, you're keeping Marin's dining room running smoothly, ensuring every guest feels attended to from arrival to last bite. This is a role for someone who thrives in motion, takes ownership of their section, and understands that great hospitality lives in the small moments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

In-Room Dining Know the menu inside and out — food, beverages, wine list, and vintages — and bring that knowledge to every order. Review each order for accuracy before it reaches the kitchen, and ensure the cart is properly set with silverware, linens, condiments, and finishing touches before it leaves your hands. Keep guests informed — if a delivery is running more than five minutes behind, reach out proactively with an apology and a new estimated arrival time. Greet guests by name, confirm their room and preferences, and set up their dining experience the way they'd want it. Handle wine service with confidence — open, present, and offer for approval. Present the guest check graciously, thank them by name, and ensure tray pickup is arranged before you leave. Keep workstations clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times. Table Attendant (Marin Restaurant) Clear and reset tables efficiently and to Marin's standards, so the next guest always walks into a polished space. Remove dishes attentively while guests are still seated — reading the table, never rushing. Serve and refill beverages promptly. Stock bussing stations and maintain cleanliness throughout your section. Support the buffet setup and replenishment as needed. Step in wherever the team needs you — whether that's running food, assisting servers, or keeping the pace moving during a rush.

WHAT YOU BRING

Prior experience in a guest-facing food and beverage or hospitality role is preferred. A natural ability to juggle multiple tasks without losing your composure or attention to detail. Comfort learning and retaining menu knowledge, including allergen and ingredient information. Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale systems, or a quick willingness to learn. Strong communication skills — warm, clear, and professional. A self-starter mentality with the flexibility to adapt as the shift demands.
