Experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) are needed for a government contract opportunity supporting a specialized state-supported residential healthcare facility in Corpus Christi, Texas.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses who value a structured clinical environment and want to provide consistent, hands-on care to residents with ongoing healthcare and support needs.

This specialized state-supported residential healthcare facility provides ongoing nursing, medical, and supportive services to individuals who require consistent clinical care and supervision. Nursing professionals work within a structured environment alongside clinical leadership and other healthcare team members to support residents’ health, safety, stability, and overall well-being. Experienced LVNs are valued for their clinical judgment, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to respond effectively to changing patient needs.

Position Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse will provide direct patient care and perform complex nursing duties under the supervision of the Unit Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include supporting resident healthcare needs, completing required documentation, following clinical procedures, and maintaining compliance with facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Perform complex nursing duties under the supervision of the Unit Nurse Manager.
• Monitor and respond to resident healthcare needs.
• Support medication, treatment, and patient-care activities as assigned.
• Maintain accurate nursing and patient-care documentation.
• Follow established clinical, safety, and compliance procedures.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to appropriate nursing leadership.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Schedule:

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend off on a rotational pattern

Minimum Requirements:

• Current and valid LVN nursing license
• Current CPR certification
• Valid photo ID
• Current TB documentation
• Completed and signed CCH form
• Ability to successfully pass a urine drug screen
• Ability to successfully pass required background checks
• Ability to complete an FBI fingerprint background check
• All required compliance must be completed prior to start
