Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required
• Experience with transplant cases, orthopedic cases, and neuro cases required
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a busy surgical environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
• Comfortable working rotating weekends and holidays
• Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in the Operating Room
• Support complex procedures, including kidney transplants, liver transplants, neuro cases, and orthopedic surgeries
• Maintain a 1:1 patient care approach within the OR environment
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, surgical technologists, anesthesiology, and other healthcare team members
• Prepare, monitor, and assist patients throughout the operative process
• Follow unit policies, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards
• Respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
