Water Resources Engineer

Job Description
Company with a reputation that goes back over 50 years looking to add a Water Resources Engineer to their Milwaukee, Wisconsin office!

Responsibilities:

• PrepareStormwater Management Plans for public/private development projects
• Performmunicipal stormwater management plan review
• Preparehydrologic and hydraulic models of storm water systems or floodplain areas
• Assistin identifying flood extents and potential flood reduction measures
• Assistin Environmental Impact Analysis Reports
• Coordinatewith other disciplines, clients, and consultants
• Mentor/trainjunior staff
• Assistwith business development pursuits

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sDegree in Civil, Environmental, or Water resource engineering
• 5+years of experience in designing/managing a wide variety of sitedevelopment or linear infrastructure projects involving hydrologic andhydraulic analysis and BMP design
• PELicense in Wisconsin or ability to obtain in 12 months
• Businessdevelopment experience including proposal writing, project interview, andclient interactions
• Workingknowledge of state and local stormwater, erosion control, and floodplainregulations
• Permittingexperience in the State of Wisconsin
• Proficientwith hydrology and hydraulic software such as HydroCAD, ICM, HEC-RAS andHydraflow
• Experiencewith implementing green infrastructure into stormwater management, erosioncontrol, best management practice inspections, and performing municipalreviews
• CertifiedFloodplain Manager (CFM) accreditation
• Experiencesupporting grant funded infrastructure projects
• Experiencewith Phase 1 ESA
• Experiencein the preparation of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) andLetter of Map Revision (LOMR) through Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA)

Salary is commensurate with experience.
