Registered Nurse - Endoscopy
Location: Richmond, VA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 06:00 - 16:00, Monday - Friday
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for circulating and assisting in advanced endoscopic procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care from preoperative assessment to postoperative recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and assist with endoscopic procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and EUS.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain and manage endoscopic equipment, including Olympus scopes and OER elite washer.
- Document patient information accurately using Meditech Expanse and Provation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in endoscopy.
- Advanced skills in ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS.
- Hospital issued scrubs are required as part of the dress code.
