Kimco Staffing is hiring for a Laminator for our client in Ontario!
Position: Laminator
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Monday- Friday OT as needed
Pay: $19.00 - $20 per hour
Job Description: .
* Receive production orders and job assignments from supervisor.
* Verify the materials supplied for production are correct to produce job.
* Laminates layers of raw material on liners or other raw materials.
* Pull proof sheets to confirm material position, adhesion and appearance and secure an approval prior to the production run.
* Places layers of material and liners in specific lengths and widths and smooths out wrinkles by hand.
* Trims excess material using hand shears or trimming knife.
* Mixes catalyst or primers prior and places on material prior to putting on liners, using brush.
* Works with saturated prime material and uses hands or squeegee, to remove air bubbles and smooth surfaces.
* Shears completed laminated material to desires sizes.
* Inspect, clean, and assemble material prior to start of work.
* Complete job maintaining optimum production rate while maintaining all quality standards according to customer specifications or company guidelines monitoring for defects.
* Maintain continuous inspection of job specifications and collecting production run samples as required.
* Follow all safety and operational procedures.
* Complete production records.
* Ensure proper cleanliness of immediate work area.
Skills & Qualifications :
* Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Able to stand for long periods of time
* Ability to read and understand work orders.
* Ability to read a ruler.
* Work well in a team environment
* Work overtime as need
* Ability to work within department standards with a strong attention to details.
