Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill a Maintenance Technician position for a manufacturing client in Comer, GA. This is a Temp/Contract job. Apply now!

Duties for this position include:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment
• Clean and disinfect common areas, including restrooms and breakrooms
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Diagnose issues and repair malfunctioning equipment and systems
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and health regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Compensation (USD):

$20.00 – $25.00/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday
5:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Mandatory overtime on Saturdays
Possible Sundays as needed

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Hands-on maintenance and repair experience required
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift as needed
• 6 months to 1 year of Controls experience required
• 6 months to 1 year of Fanuc experience required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
