Pediatric SLP for Schools Impactful Contract Role

Qualifications & Experience: Hold an active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is strongly preferred. Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document services in compliance with school and state regulations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments in students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs. Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to students as outlined in their education plans. Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure holistic support for each child. Educate students, staff, and families on strategies to foster communication skills in and out of the classroom.
