Desired Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required
• Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Prior experience in critical illness or rehabilitation preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and education skills

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop tailored respiratory treatment plans
• Administer and educate patients on ventilatory and oxygen therapies
• Operate diverse respiratory and monitoring equipment, both invasive and non-invasive
• Perform arterial punctures, 12-Lead EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and chest physiotherapy
• Assist with bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, chest tube placement, and similar procedures
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with the care team
• Participate actively in shift handoffs and ensure proper respiratory therapy charging
