Clinical Educator (JS/ Full- Time)

Clinical Educator

The Clinical Educator provides continuing education support for nursing and allied health professionals. Provides initial and ongoing orientation and training to Nursing Services staff. Assists with hospital competency assessment and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Five years clinical experience preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. ACLS and PALS Instructor certification preferred. BLS Instructor certification required.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of adult theory and strategies. Well-developed oral, written, organizational and interpersonal skills. Experienced computer skills.
