Automotive Repair Technician

*Responsibilities*

* Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Conduct repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
* Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during repair processes.
* Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components.
* Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs needed on GM vehicles and other makes/models.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

*Skills*

* Proficient in vehicle maintenance practices with a strong understanding of automotive service techniques.
* Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
* Familiarity with dealership operations and standards is preferred.
* Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use power tools effectively.
* Knowledge of auto estimating processes and ability to provide accurate assessments of repair needs.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems.
* Experience working specifically with GM vehicles is advantageous but not required.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
