Position patients correctly, optimize scanning parameters, and ensure high‑quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Administer contrast material per protocol, monitor for adverse reactions, and manage IV access as needed. Prepare, review, and process CT images; document procedures and communicate findings to the radiologist and referring clinicians. Adhere to radiation safety standards, maintain infection control, and participate in routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Collaborate with radiology staff and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate patient care. Requirements Active radiologic technologist license in California (RT in CA) required. ARRT certification: RT(R) and CT (ARRT‑CT) required; ARRT‑R or ARRT‑CT eligibility acceptable per policy. Minimum 2 years performing CT in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months. Experience with the GE EVO CT Unit. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required. Venipuncture certification preferred; fluoroscopy license preferred in CA. Ability to work in a fast‑paced CT environment within a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.
