Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to establish a client’s mental health status and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with their specific mental health goals, needs, and preferences.

• Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions to adults, utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited to each client's unique circumstances.

• Effectively utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver engaging and impactful virtual therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of adult clients, each with their distinct mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. Our client base comes from various backgrounds, reflecting the multicultural fabric of Long Beach, California. This role allows you to apply your therapeutic skills in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a mental health professional, such as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building rapport and trust with clients.
\n
• A deep sense of compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle a typical caseload.
\n
• No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
