Litigation Attorney

Note: An active Texas Bar license in good standing is required. Candidates must have 5+ years of directly relevant litigation experience and be able to independently handle substantive litigation responsibilities. Job Description Handle litigation matters involving business, property, contract, and related disputes. Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents. Develop case strategies and work closely with Partners on complex and high-value matters. Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing counsel and other parties. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and other litigation-related matters. Manage case files, deadlines, and litigation activity from inception through resolution. Communicate clearly and persuasively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other involved parties. Monitor developments in Texas law, including the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. Maintain approximately 7 billable hours per day. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Texas Bar license and current good standing required. 5+ years of litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality litigation documents. Strong negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities effectively. Experience with business and/or property litigation strongly preferred.
