Experience: 1 year of experience preferred

License: ARRT Radiography or CV (Cath Lab/Int IF RCIS-Cert)

Certifications: Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor

Must-Have: Competency in all aspects of diagnostic radiology procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection. Understanding of anatomy and pathology as they affect the quality of a procedure. Ability to communicate and comprehend verbal and written English. Ability to display a positive attitude. Ability to function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency.

Description: Functions under the direction of the clinical coordinator or department manager. Assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing all exams according to department procedures. Has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study. Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases. Able to independently perform job functions. Sets up equipment to provide imaging services and positions patients for procedures. Capable of performing procedures in both the interventional radiology and vascular hybrid interventional procedural settings. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
