Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Community Engagement Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and community inclusion.

In this role, you will provide one-on-one support while helping individuals build daily living, communication, and social skills through meaningful community activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support in community settings.
• Assist individuals in developing independence and life skills.
• Support participation in recreational, educational, and social activities.
• Encourage community integration and positive social interactions.
• Ensure the individual's health, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes accurately and on time.
• Maintain professional communication with supervisors and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
