Registered Nurse Endoscopy/GI

$1640.16/week -

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the endoscopy unit, supporting a high-volume procedural environment. Ensure patient safety and comfort through expert clinical skills and adherence to facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and procedural responses, responding quickly to any complications.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and assist with complex procedures such as ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and colonoscopy.
  
  
• 
  Follow strict infection control standards, including proper endoscope reprocessing.
  
  
• 
  Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients regarding procedures and care plans.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Credentialed registered nurse (RN) with valid licensure.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy or GI procedures.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of endoscopic and diagnostic procedures, including ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopy.
  
  
• 
  Ability to respond swiftly to patient needs and clinical emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Flexibility to work approximately 4-7 days of call per month.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
