Ability to speak Spanish a plus • Capacity to be certified at operating multiple types of Forklift Equipment required • Experience operating RF Scanner equipment. • Minimal PC skills and abilities. • Proactive communication and organizational skills a must. • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment in a professional and efficient manner while interacting with numerous departments and personnelPosition Responsibilities:• The Company Truck Driver is expected to load and unload the company truck by using a forklift or pallet jack • Driver is responsible for picking jobs for the production lines, transferring the following items: brite stock, finished goods, raw material, empty totes, recyclable corrugated boxes, production discards and miscellaneous items when requested by other departments. • All transfers are expected to be processed accurately and timely at the time the truck is loaded by forklift or pallet jack. Items are scanned with an RF Scanner to properly transfer inventory items into Oracle. When Oracle is down the driver will log onto each pallet on a transfer tally sheet and perform the transaction once the system is back. • Driver is responsible to perform daily safety inspections, always keep the Company Truck clean and at service intervals take the Company Truck in to be serviced. • Report transfer process errors to proper supervisors as they occur. This would be any transfer that cannot be performed by the RF gun or in the system. • Report safety incidents, property damage and accidents • During downtime the driver will be expected to assist in warehouse functions such as sweeping, putting away finished goods and materials and various other duties as described by the Production Supervisor and Production Manager.Physical Requirements:• Long periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending • Requires walking/standing up to 8 hours • Good hand eye coordination when handling products • Able to lift/carry items frequently of up to 25 – 45 lbs. while working in a production environment • Must upkeep proper PPE requirements within a manufacturing environment
