Position Overview We proudly invite you to join our team as a skilled and dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist , where you'll become a vital member of an expanding group of imaging professionals delivering unparalleled care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate seamlessly with a supportive team of clinicians, and provide peace of mind to patients through accurate and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, ensuring each step is communicated clearly and compassionately
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Function and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
- Document procedures with accuracy and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques, including effective patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal competencies
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
