Client Summary Focuses on investing in growth-stage companies within healthcare software and services. Brings deep experience as investors, operators, and entrepreneurs in the healthcare sector. Partners closely with management teams to help scale impactful, category-defining businesses. Invests alongside institutional backers and senior healthcare leaders across the industry. Maintains strong ties to large healthcare organizations across payers, providers, and services. Seeks to generate strong financial returns while supporting innovation that improves the healthcare system. Position Responsibilities Perform financial analysis and due diligence on prospective investments, including financial modeling, projections, returns analysis, unit economics, customer metrics, churn, productivity, and KPI assessment Prepare investment materials such as charts, analyses, and investment memoranda for internal committees and limited partners Analyze market size, competitive landscapes, market segments, and relevant policy initiatives impacting investments Research, source, and screen new investment opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and market research Lead and participate in pitch and diligence calls, professionally representing the firm and documenting findings in internal systems Develop thought leadership materials, market landscapes, and whitepapers aligned to targeted investment themes Build and maintain a strong network of investors, health systems, payers, and industry stakeholders to generate deal flow Represent the firm at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and sourcing efforts Support limited partner engagement through preparation of meeting materials, updates, presentations, and advisory committee support Assist portfolio companies by leveraging firm resources, insights, and network connections Maintain internal databases, exit multiple benchmarks, return analyses, and assist with administrative and internal process development Required Experience and Qualifications College graduate with 2–4 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, and/or corporate development Candidates should be very detail-oriented, strong researchers, highly competitive, extremely passionate about healthcare and/or venture capital, have demonstrated ability to work hard, intelligent and curious Highly responsive to internal and external emails and phone calls (nothing > 24 hours) and a nothing falls through the cracks approach to processes Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) skills Analytic and quantitative skills needed to review financial and market projections, balance sheets, and operating plans of potential and existing investments Ability to not just perform analyses but also present in a thoughtful, nuanced way with a story behind the presentation (versus a data dump of charts, tables, and pros/cons) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Creative, self-starter Compensation $100k-$200k, Health Insurance, 401k, Paid Vacation #J-18808-Ljbffr Direct Recruiters Inc.
