Test Engineering Technician

Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Test Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Test Engineering department supporting the production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive initiative, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization. Test Engineering Technician Location: Batesville, IN What's the Job? Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to understand design requirements and support manufacturing test and Functional Circuit Test (FCT) processes Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair PCBA FCT fixtures and test stands, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on test fixtures and test systems to ensure reliability, repeatability, and uptime Support test system maintenance, including test PCs, instrumentation (DMMs, power supplies, switches), cabling, and interfaces Diagnose and resolve fixture and test system related failures impacting production yield, efficiency, or throughput What's Needed? Associate degree or 3+ years of relevant experience in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Computer System Technology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years supporting Functional Circuit Test (FCT) systems in a manufacturing environment; medical device experience is strongly preferred Hands‑on experience with electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes), hand tools, soldering, and assembly tools Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate test data, identify trends, and perform root cause analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams What's in it for me?
