Project Finance Analyst

The Financial Analyst (Project Intake Analyst/Business Analyst) plays a key role on the Project Intake team, focusing on the evaluation and classification of software-related capital projects. This position ensures adherence to internal capitalization policies while supporting accurate financial reporting and governance of project activities. Responsibilities: Managing and coordinating project intake requests for IT/software initiatives Performing financial analysis to determine capital vs. operational expense classification Ensuring compliance with capital policies and governance standards Collaborating across teams to ensure accurate and efficient project routing and approval Supporting process improvements and leveraging tools for workflow optimization Analyze project scope and costs to determine appropriate classification (CapEx vs. OpEx) Provide documentation and recommendations for accurate financial coding. Required Qualifications: 3-5+ years of relevant experience in project support, intake coordination, operations, or similar roles. Project intake coordination experience with Software Projects/Hardware IT, strong financial/compliance awareness (Capital vs. O&M) Exposure to IT projects, financial tracking (Capital vs. O&M), or intake/governance functions Understanding of CapEx vs. OpEx principles and financial governance JIRA/SharePoint Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience). #J-18808-Ljbffr
