A growing quick service restaurant operation is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and help lead a high performing team.

This is a hands on leadership role for someone who enjoys a fast paced environment, takes pride in excellent customer service, and knows how to keep a restaurant running smoothly during busy periods.

The ideal candidate is a strong shift leader who can coach employees, maintain operational standards, and step up when the General Manager is not present.

What You Will Do

• Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts and ensure the team delivers fast, friendly, and consistent service.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance and customer experience.
• Maintain standards for food quality, cleanliness, food safety, and restaurant presentation.
• Monitor staffing and labor needs during each shift.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee development.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure proper cash handling, opening and closing procedures, and daily operational processes.
• Monitor product levels and assist with inventory and ordering as needed.
• Help maintain a positive team culture built around accountability, teamwork, and strong service.
• Step in as manager on duty and take ownership of the restaurant when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Identify operational issues and work with the management team to resolve them.

What We Are Looking For

• 2 or more years of restaurant management or shift leadership experience.
• QSR or fast casual restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading hourly employees in a high volume environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, customer service, restaurant operations, and shift execution.
• Proven ability to coach and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to lead by example.
• Stable employment history with demonstrated growth in restaurant responsibility.
