Job Description Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Manassas, VA Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with schools in Manassas, VA, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. SLPs play a vital role in helping students develop effective communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and will possess strong clinical skills. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals. Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals and objectives. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Virginia license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred. Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide professional references. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Dedication to providing high-quality speech-language therapy services.
