Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for Clients enrolled in ASAM 2.1 Intensive Outpatient and outpatient substance use treatment services or ASAM 2.5 PHP Partial Hospitalization Services.
• Provide education regarding substance use disorders, relapse prevention, coping skills, emotional regulation, trauma, recovery preparation, and community supports.
• Promote a therapeutic, safe, and respectful group environment that encourages participation and accountability.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes in accordance with DMAS, DBHDS, and agency standards within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team regarding Client progress, concerns, barriers, and treatment recommendations.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Monitor Client participation, behaviors, and emotional functioning during group sessions and communicate concerns to clinical leadership when appropriate.
• Assist with reinforcing individualized treatment goals, relapse prevention planning, and recovery-oriented interventions.
• Participate in required trainings, supervision, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all agency policies, credentialing requirements, and documentation expectations.
