Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Elk Grove, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to provide documentation and deliver skilled OT services for rehabilitation and activities of daily living.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with patient mobility training, ADL retraining, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1630.
• Work schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
• Guaranteed weekly hours: 36.
• Candidate may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
