Site safety manager

Job Description The position involves ensuring all the employees are working in a safe environment and are following all safety procedures. Job Duties/Responsibilities Conduct daily safety audits Verify the adequacy and safety of all work, proposed tools, and equipment to eliminate unsafe conditions Lead weekly safety meeting with crews Assist in recognizing potential hazards and ways to mitigate or remove them Implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures Assist Apprentice Program Manager with training and competency completion for apprentices Investigate incidents/near misses, take corrective measures for future incidents Suggest solutions, improvements, and prevention steps for safety issues Work closely with Director of Human Capital to ensure a safe work environment through compliance training Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous linework experience required Knowledge of health and safety practices, laws, and guidelines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to provide detailed reports and develop safety procedures accordingly Ethical Conduct and Technical Capacity Work efficiently and safely Good Organizational Skills Personal Effectiveness/Credibility Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position Safe responsible operation of company vehicle Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record Travel to different job sites as required in and out of South Carolina Benefits Competitive Salary commensurate with experience Medical, Dental, and Vision 401k with Company match Performance Bonuses Wolf Line Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wolf Line Construction
