Role Description The Stylist Assistant will support the stylist team by preparing workstations, maintaining a clean and organized salon environment, and assisting during services as required. Responsibilities include shampooing, detangling, and blow-drying hair while providing excellent customer service. The role also includes maintaining salon supplies and tools, scheduling appointments, and supporting team members during busy periods. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New York, NY, ideal for someone passionate about textured hair care and eager to grow professionally within the beauty industry. Qualifications Proficiency in shampooing, detangling, and blow-drying textured hair types, including curly, coily, and wavy textures Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients Strong organizational and time management skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace Ability to follow instructions and effectively communicate with stylists and the team Knowledge of or willingness to learn about textured hair care products and techniques Passion for the beauty industry and an eagerness for hands‑on learning and professional developmen Some prior experience in a salon setting or cosmetology training is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Curl Bar Beauty
