Registered Nurse – ICU (12-Hour Nights)

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, managing patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, CVAs, post-arrest, and complicated post-operative cases
• Perform and manage higher-level therapies including Rotoprone, manual prone positioning, hypothermia protocol, CRRT, and TPA administration
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation , ventilator management , invasive line management, tracheostomy care, ostomy care, and general drain management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Operate within a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility, including potential floating to ED Holding or other units within scope of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including Intensivists, Hospitalists, and Respiratory Therapy, all available 24/7

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Telemetry competency required prior to unit assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Strong patient communication and patient education skills
• Experience caring for patients requiring isolation precautions and non-ambulatory patient populations
