Shipping Coordinator
Schedule: Full-time
Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
Job SummaryThe Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily shipping operations, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring products are shipped accurately and on time. This role works closely with production, customer service, warehouse staff, and transportation providers.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
- Supervise shipping employees and forklift operators.
- Verify shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Maintain and update inventory management systems.
- Review production schedules and shipping orders.
- Coordinate trailer inventory with third-party carriers.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and transportation providers.
- Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and through email.
- Perform data entry and maintain purchasing databases.
- Confirm and follow up on purchase orders.
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain reports and records.
- Help improve shipping processes and department efficiency.
- Assist with other warehouse and administrative duties as assigned.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Must be able to stand and bend for up to 10 hours.
- Occasionally required to kneel, crouch, and lift materials as needed.
This position may include additional duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
