Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Travel)
Location Las Cruces, NM | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 6th floor Orthopedic / Oncology / Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring
Manage a patient population at a ratio of 1:6, delivering safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care
Utilize

Meditech EHR

for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Float to other Medical Surgical units within the facility as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative patient services
Required Qualifications

Active RN license valid for practice in New Mexico (or compact eligibility)
BLS certification

required prior to start
All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date; client reserves the right to require additional certifications
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in orthopedic or oncology patient populations
Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
Comfort with floating to multiple Medical Surgical units within a facility
