This role is based within one supportive elementary school, working with students to help them succeed academically and socially through targeted interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid OT license required
• Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Knowledge of and adherence to school OT best practices and documentation requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and school staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students as determined by IEPs and referrals
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs focusing on sensory, fine motor, and self-help skills
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, goals, interventions, and progress toward student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support student goals and adapt classroom strategies as needed
• Support school initiatives to improve overall student access and participation within the school environment
• Attend IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and multidisciplinary team meetings as scheduled

This position is a contract role, offering 37.5 hours per week with a start date as soon as possible through June 2, 2027. You’ll enjoy working within one school, allowing you to build strong, lasting relationships with students and staff.
