: Category: Admin Support City: Jackson State: Tennessee Shift: 0 - Day (United States of America) Summary: Primary responsibilities consist of customer relation duties, i.e. receiving incoming calls and taking referrals; waiting on walk-in customers and delivery ticket data entry for all new referrals and customer orders for equipment and supplies; checking and compiling files for accuracy and completeness. performing custom fittings of braces, splints and other products as needed. Under the general supervision of the Medical Products Billing/Customer Service Manager, responsible for the delivery ticket data entry of patient records, general office duties such as telephone/reception and compiling of patient files completely. Education of walk-in customers regarding equipment and supplies as necessary Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital. Responsibilities

• Responsible for incoming calls for new referrals and orders for services or supplies which current customers may require.
• Assists customers in the office for needed services.
• Advises/educates on various types of equipment and instructs in their use.
• Determines appropriate types of equipment with regards to various coverage issues.
• Ability to custom fit patients/customers with braces, splints or other products as needed.
• Responsible for entering complete patient data and charges for all referrals received at the West Forest location and all hospital affiliate and consignment orders dispensed.
• Responsible for initial pre-certifications and monitoring precepts of home equipment and supplies.
• Verifies that the patient has current orders and pars on all re-order supplies and equipment before items are dispensed.
• Communicates with insurance companies, case managers in regards to coverage and pre-certification process.
• Coordinates with a referral source for needed equipment/supplies and delivery.
• Contribute to the guest Excellence philosophy and positive work climate and overall team effort of the office.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.

Qualifications EDUCATION: High School diploma LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION: N/A EXPERIENCE: Data entry and retrieval skills. One year of customer service in Home Medical Equipment.
