Registered Dietitian (RD)- Contract Consultant Mobile/Travel

Description This is a mobile role traveling between multiple SNF/LTC/AL communities across the Columbia, MO area. This role averages 56 hours per month onsite and additional 4 hours every quarter for two assisted living communities (weekday, business hours) with some remote work between visits. DiningRD is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian for this area. The consultant would be responsible for completing food safety and sanitation audits, meal/dining observation audits, and any nutrition referrals for high‑risk residents. Day in the Life of a Registered Dietitian (RD) As a Long‑Term Care consulting Registered Dietitian, you improve the lives of seniors by ensuring their meals meet high nutritional standards. You work closely with the clinical team to monitor the nutritional needs of the residents. You may provide nutrition education, participate in an MDS team, or formulate your nutrition assessment with input from your dining manager. With a commitment to quality, you provide guidance on all dining services, including meal rounds and sanitation best practices, and ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. You train and guide dining managers and staff, assist with policy development, and monitor the implementation of effective nutritional care systems. Qualifications Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) credentials Licensed (if required by State) 2 years of consulting experience is preferred, but we will consider many factors.
