Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts

• 2 Days On / 2 Days Off / 3 Days On rotation

Job Duties

• Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery to meet production goals
• Monitor multiple machines and respond quickly to operational needs
• Record production data, machine readings, and operational information
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure product standards are met
• Utilize computer systems to track production and equipment performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate production issues and equipment concerns with team members and supervisors
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Packaging Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
