Description:
As an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant, you will work closely with oral surgeons and other clinical staff to assist with complex procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and IV sedation cases.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, surgical setting and is passionate about patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care.
You will assist oral surgeons with surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, and IV sedation cases.
You will prepare and maintain surgical instruments, operatory, and sterilization areas in compliance with infection control protocols.
Monitoring and reassuring patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and safety will be part of your responsibilities.
You will take and process dental radiographs, including panoramic and CBCT imaging, if certified.
Providing clear post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers is essential.
You will manage surgical inventory, prepare surgical trays, and order supplies as needed.
Support for sedation and anesthesia setup and the recovery process under supervision will be required.
Collaboration with front desk and clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience is expected.
