Our team is growing quickly and we are in search of an energetic, friendly, and hardworking Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner (PA, ARNP) to see our patients in our OCA Medical Group location. Goodlife provides and coordinates conservative modalities with pain relieving and orthopedic techniques to deliver the best opportunity for rapid and sustained correction of painful physical medicine disorders. Position Summary: Evaluation and Management of musculoskeletal complaints in coordination with our Orthopedic and Pain surgeons. Key Responsibilities: Perform physical examinations of patients to evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal health Order diagnostic tests such as x-rays, ultrasounds, and nerve tests Determine, plan, and initiate appropriate treatment and adjust treatment if necessary Prescribe and dispense medications occasionally; Acute opioid prescribing is very rare and we do not initiate or maintain chronic opioid therapy. Document medical information of patients and maintain electronic medical records Educate, instruct, and counsel patients and families on presenting health problems, treatment plans, and home care, and encourage and promote preventative health care and positive health behaviors Request consultation or referral with other health care providers, such as physicians and clinics Actively maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends, and support research projects Follow practice treatment protocols and policies Qualifications: Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in orthopedics, sports medicine or pain management preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff. Ability to travel to multiple healthcare facilities on a scheduled basis. Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze clinical reports and identify critical insights.
