Make Ready Technician - Property Management Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Monday through Friday Compensation: $18-$19 per hour We're seeking a dependable and detail-driven Make Ready Technician to join our property management team. This role is essential in preparing vacant units for new residents and ensuring every home meets our quality standards. - Complete all make-ready tasks including painting, patching, cleaning, and general repairs
- Inspect units and identify items needing repair or replacement
- Assist with minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance tasks
- Ensure units are move-in ready according to company standards and timelines
- Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in clean, organized condition
- Support maintenance team with work orders as needed
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and needed repairs
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and staff
- 1+ year of make-ready, handyman, or property maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of general repairs, painting, and cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple unit turns
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude
