Office of the Board of Commissioners Internship The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) is seeking a current student interested in an internship with the Office of the Board of Commissioners. The role involves monitoring social media trends and proposing creative strategies to boost engagement and expand the District’s online presence. Responsibilities include crafting compelling posts with graphics, captions, and videos to showcase MWRD programs, events, and initiatives; scheduling social media content to ensure consistent and timely posting; contributing to curating a monthly newsletter that highlights MWRD’s impact; and participating in community events promoting sustainability. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Canva is preferred. Candidates should be capable of working independently, demonstrating initiative, and proactively offering innovative ideas and improvements. A strong enthusiasm for environmental issues, water conservation, and sustainability.
