Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Top Skills Needed:

Infrastructure as Code for AWS (Terraform or AWS CDK)
CI/CD Pipeline Engineering (GitHub Actions or similar)
Containers & AWS Orchestration (ECS Fargate or EKS)
AWS Security & Identity (IAM + OIDC / Okta / Entra)

Position Overview
This role is responsible for building and operating a secure, scalable AWS foundation while ensuring reliable application delivery through modern CI/CD and observability practices. The engineer will focus on infrastructure automation, container orchestration, environment management, and platform performance.

Required Technical Skills

Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK
Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, networking, and security groups
Containerization with Docker and orchestration using ECS with Fargate or EKS
CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions, including promotion across dev, stage, and prod environments and artifact management
Experience with PostgreSQL (pgvector preferred) or a managed vector database solution
Monitoring and observability using CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry, including structured logging and distributed tracing
Authentication and authorization using OIDC with an enterprise identity provider or API gateway (experience with Okta or Microsoft Entra is preferred)

Core Responsibilities

Establish and maintain AWS landing zone components, including secrets management and environment promotion workflows
Implement and support automated integrations such as GitHub webhook processing for indexing and downstream services
Define and manage logging, metrics, alerting, and cost optimization strategies, along with operational runbooks
Create performance benchmarks and develop load testing frameworks to validate platform scalability and reliability
