Utilization Management Supervisor

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Utilization Management Coordinators, the full-time remote Utilization Management Supervisor will ensure timely processing of prior authorization requests while focusing on team leadership, operational performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the Utilization Management Coordinator team, monitoring productivity and performance Oversee the intake and processing of prior authorization requests, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with providers Manage clinical coordination and compliance, planning team initiatives to meet service level agreements and regulatory standards Required qualifications 3+ years of utilization management or prior authorization experience 1+ year of prior leadership or supervisory experience Experience in Medicare Advantage or managed care environments Knowledge of prior authorization workflows and regulatory requirements Proficiency with healthcare systems, EHRs, and reporting tools
