Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience required License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - 24 months of current operating room experience - Circulating and operating room experience - Experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases - EPIC electronic medical records experience within the previous 3 years - Trauma Level II experience - Scrubbing experience in Orthopedic preferred - No first-time travelers; must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with an average caseload of 35-50 cases per day. Nurses will be expected to manage patient care effectively in a fast-paced operating room setting. The expectations include maintaining turnover times of less than 20 minutes. Candidates should be comfortable floating across multiple campuses. Experience with trauma cases, robotics, and various surgical procedures is crucial. This position may require working on weekends, including an on-call schedule. Interested candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of surgical instruments and procedures. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes is essential.
