AI & Data EngineerLocation: Jersey City, NJ / Tampa, FL / Tempe, AZJob Type: ContractRate: $60/hrJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced AI & Data Engineer with strong expertise in Agentic AI, data engineering, business intelligence, and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building AI-powered agents, integrating LLMs with enterprise systems, developing data solutions, and leveraging AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot. The candidate will work closely with business and cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and optimize scalable AI and data solutions while maintaining strong governance, security, observability, and auditability.Key Responsibilities:Use GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering tools throughout the software development lifecycle, including code analysis, development, refactoring, testing, debugging, documentation, code review, and verification.Design, develop, test, and operate Agentic AI solutions capable of executing multi-step workflows using LLMs, prompts, context, memory, retrieval, APIs, data tools, and human approval workflows.Build tool-enabled AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to securely connect AI assistants with enterprise APIs, data platforms, BI/reporting systems, work-management tools, and knowledge repositories.Develop browser and UI automation agents for authenticated enterprise workflows, regression testing, evidence capture, test generation, and operational processes using technologies such as Playwright and browser developer protocols.Establish agent evaluation, observability, governance, and safety frameworks, including grounded-response validation, structured outputs, deterministic tool contracts, least-privilege access, approval checkpoints, execution tracing, failure recovery, and measurable quality metrics.Design and implement data mesh and data fabric architectures supporting decentralized data management, governance, and federated data access.Develop AI-powered data and BI solutions capable of generating and validating SQL, DAX, semantic models, reports, data-product specifications, quality tests, and deployment artifacts.Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, QA, and Regulatory Affairs to resolve supplier quality issues.Support new product development and pre-market supplier quality activities.Ensure suppliers consistently deliver quality parts, materials, and services.Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
