Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Lakeville, MA who is currently seeking two Summer School Nurses (RN) to work with students on a contractual basis.

Details of the Position Include:

Start Date: 07/06/2026

Duration: 5 Weeks - July 6 - August 7th

Schedule: Monday- Friday

• Shift 1: 7am-1pm

• Shift 2: 1pm-5pm

(Looking for two nurses, one for each shift)

Requirements:

· MA RN Licensure

· DESE RN Licensure

Description: Seeking two nurses (one per shift) for contracted summer nursing services supporting both in-district summer programs and a district-run camp. The nurse is responsible for medication administration, first aid, emergency response, and monitoring students with chronic health needs. This role includes maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with families as needed, and collaborating with camp staff to ensure a safe, inclusive environment. The nurse also supports health screenings, manages the health office, and helps students navigate minor injuries, heat-related concerns, and general wellness throughout the program.

Pay: $55/ hour

The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The School RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students within the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promoting the health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronic conditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis’ philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment

• Bachelor's Degree, preferred

• School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract

• One year of school nursing, public health or pediatric experience, preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
