JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for day to day hatchery functions to ensure quality performance resulting in superior quality birds delivered to our growers.

DAILY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Responsible for daily set up and operation of assigned machines, including learning start up and shut down procedures, checklists assigned to the operator program, troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues, and maintaining equipment with basic PM's.

1. Ensure egg flats are spaced evenly on conveyor belts before entering Advance Transfer Robot.
2. Ensure the Advance Transfer robots, Embrex Egg Flat robots, and other Embrex machinery are operating efficiently.
3. Ensure flock changes are done correctly and date is recorded in it's entirety.
4. Move full hatch baskets into correct hatchers.
5. Wash and clean equipment at the end of each shift.
6. Pull egg racks from incubator and push and load racks into robot as needed.
7. Wash and clean equipment at the end of each shift.
8. Ensure QA checks are done properly on all Embrex machinery.
9. Change needles on machine as needed.
10. Remove good eggs from the egg flats that were missed by the Advance Transfer Robot to reload before going into the wash room.
11. Remove any rotten eggs from going into the wash room.

1. Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Attend meetings and trainings as required.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

1. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.

1. MUST be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes to the needs of production.
2. MUST be a team player.
3. MUST be able to pass required physical including demonstrating your ability to lift the required weight for each position.
4. MUST be able to stand and/or walk for entire 8-hour shift.
5. MUST wear correct job specific PPE as designated by company policy.
6. MUST possess exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
7. Ability to handle eggs and chicks with caution.
8. Ability to be a good representative of the Company.
9. Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision.

1. MUST be familiar with and in compliance of The Packers & Stockyards Act with all assigned duties and responsibilities.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment preferred.
2. Machine operator experience is preferred.

This position requires that you cannot own or have any contact with animals with feathers, other than those owned by Lincoln Premium Poultry, during your employment with LPP.
