We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide safe and efficient medical transportation for patients, ensuring high-quality care during transit to and from medical appointments or healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate prioritizes patient safety, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and provides respectful, patient-centered care at all times. Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities
- Provide basic life support (BLS) and emergency medical care as needed
- Monitor patient condition during transport and respond appropriately
- Assist patients with mobility, including lifting and transferring when necessary
- Work collaboratively with drivers and team members to ensure patient safety
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and transport documentation
- Perform routine vehicle and equipment inspections
- Ensure all medical equipment is clean, stocked, and in proper working condition
- Adhere to all company policies, EMS protocols, and local/state regulations
- Valid EMT Certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification (required)
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and assist patients safely
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including long shifts if needed
- Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
