Job Title: IT Healthcare Consultant - Project Manager Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Oversee MMIS, Encounter Processing System, and supporting system operations.
- Manage vendors and monitor service level agreements.
- Oversee incident, issue, and escalation management.
- Lead release management, stakeholder communication, readiness checks, and post-implementation monitoring.
- Develop process flows, desk aides, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage team workload and provide guidance and training.
- Ensure compliance with security requirements and approval processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field.
- 3+ years of experience managing system operations or administrative program functions in a healthcare environment.
- 5+ years of project/program management experience managing system implementations or enhancements.
- Ability to provide incident management on call and after hours.
- Experience managing Medicaid Enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and MMIS concepts.
- Experience with ticketing software and SOP development.
- AWS Cloud Certifications.
- Strong communication, documentation, and process management skills.
