Position Overview: Under direction, performs comprehensive, detailed, analytical and investigative review of case records and call recordings on State and Federal Assistance cases. Conducts case reviews with an assigned geographical location for compliance with Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP), State Regulations and Department of Human Services (DHS) rules, policies, and procedures. Conducts interviews with public assistance recipients, responsible relatives, and staff to verify information. Analyzes data and prepares reports regarding outcomes of reviews with recommendations for improvement. Travels in the performance of duties, including overnight stays.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college with coursework in one of the behavioral sciences. Requires two (2) years of professional experience in casework or related area.

Preferred Qualifications: Three (3) years of professional experience administering a supplemental nutrition assistance program. Two (2) years of professional experience working with public assistance policies and programs such as Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Two (2) years of professional experience utilizing public assistance interviewing techniques. Two (2) years of professional experience examining and evaluating data in accordance with established criteria. Two (2) years of professional experience presenting and preparing clear, concise, and accurate reports.
